Wow. I've been dying for the past several weeks to find a good Herm/Lucius fanfiction. One that wasn't based on him making her his slave. So when I found yours, I thought that I would have to hit the back button. But I kept going, and I STILL can't believe what a grand adventure I just had. Such detail into his thoughts and emotions. I've very rarely seen any author take that much care of how they portray someone.

All of your stories are wonderful! As I was rereading Prisoners of Love- A Mystery and then checking (rather impatiently actually...Lol.) if you had updated, I went to your profile and found this. I was immediately hooked, and I just simply couldn't stop reading even if I wanted to. Thank you so much for sharing your writing talents with all of us readers. You're definitely one of the best authors I've ever had the pleasure of reading from. (And I've been reading fanfiction for years!) Well, anyway. Good luck on any and all future stories you will write.

Ch 44 - ooh, the "real" wedding! Very nice, and it was more meaningful because it was Lucius' idea. I did miss Draco's presence at the wedding, and I hope in your story's universe that he somehow reconciled himself to the idea of Hermione as his dad's new wife, and Chloe as his half-sister. Looking forward to reading your new fic!

A prison of misery, or a prison of an unwanted marriage; which is the lesser of the two evils in reality? hmm...
A very good beginning, I'm rather new to Harry Potter FanFiction, and this is a pairing that is quite putting me off my favourite pairing (Hermione/Draco), and latching me onto this one! (And realistically, if given the choice of Draco or Lucius, I would most definitely be in acceptance of the latter!)
Its great to read about a happy Severus! Most fics I have read have him miserable and depressed! Wonderful to see him happily married and learning to compromise with his wife - a skill Lucius appears to be lacking greatly!
... I think its time I read the next chapter!

(chapter 2 review)
Hmm... the plot thickens! And I do like to read plot with smut, makes it so much more realistic!
The chapter was well written, and I didn't spot any grammatical mistakes (and believe me, you'd have heard about them from me! I'm a class-A nit-pick!).
The writing was brilliant! The description was somewhat 'simple', but brought a perfect picture of the scene into view; I could (and did) imagine it perfectly thanks to your words. The emotions were not described, but were highly obvious that the pair of them long for something more than they have at present.

(chapter 3 review)
You did a marvelous job of swapping the viewpoints of the pair! Even though the trasitions between the characters were very obvious, they flowed brilliantly and didn't give a staccato effect!
If only these two can be honest with each other, and come out - all cards face up on the table; and just have a conversation that isn't made up of vague truths, insults or riddles! Honesty is a fundamental requirement of marriage!
Once again, a pleasure to read!

(Chapter 3 review)
I warn you, I am a biologist, and anatomically you weren't quite correct with a smidgen of your smut. Lucius wouldn't actually be hitting her womb, he'd be coming into contact with her cervix (I did previously mention I was a nit-pick).
Right, my moaning over... that chapter was EXCELLENT! The description was well managed and not vulgar (as much 'amateur smut' has an unfortunate tendency to be). The situation was very realistic and avoided probably one of the most used, and most difficult to achieve: joint/shared orgasm. It annoys me that so many romance novels and fanfictions have the couple climax simultaneously - when in reality it happens once in a blue moon! Again, it added an air of reality.
A pleasure to read, I look forward to chapter 4!

Wonderful! Your fiction has a very deep and dynamic plot, and not just chapter after chapter of sex scenes! BRILLIANT!
Though, I am a little concerned for the road you have taken them down; after a night of passion, why do the demons have to surface and cause trouble. Lucius's little outburst, combined with his inability to apoligise, may have ruined what he was starting to achieve.
Marvelous writing, a believable plot; a pleasure to read!

I have to say that I don't normally review stories, but this one was just too good not to review on. :)
I simply love how you transition the characters. They change, but it's so well done that one almost doesn't notice. It's like a secret chapter in the book series stepped out and lande here. <3
