Hi, this chapter gave me a warm feeling. Potter in hiding and Snape in denial. Never a thing better then that. I would really like toknow why Harry is a servant but will have to wait.... sadly.

Interesting start! I like it that your Snape isn't fluffy or saccharine as happens so often with this kind of plot but still sharp, private, temperamental and domineering as we see him in the books. That he doesn't spend his time pining away for the supposedly missing Potter after they reached an accord during the war or already being in love with Potter's new identity is also a good thing imo: in scenarios as this I find it much more likely and realistic when men (especially guarded ones as Snape!) fall in lust long before anything else ^_^

One mistake imo: you're mentioning Snape's "teacher salary" - however in the course of the chapter it's rather clear that Severus isn't teaching anymore post-war but spends his days all at his home brewing for a living.

I really like what I've read so far. I can't wait to see Snape's reaction when he finds out who Amateo really is. Excellent work!!
