Young Severus is just perfect the way you wrote him. One problem is that with the new future, Hermione has no reason to go back to the past and deal with Severus. But if she doesn't go back, the past couldn't have happened.

Consistency in time turner fics is pretty hard to do though.

nonentity: Yep. Paradox is a bitch. The way I'm looking at it is if Hermione went back and changed the timeline, the new one that developed is completely new and the old timeline erased. It wouldn't need to be repeated if it were successful.

I'll use a river as a metaphor to try and explain how I see this working

I imagine a river that is suddenly looped backward to a point of origin and starts again, forming a new, separate river that runs parellel from that common apex. It wouldn't encounter that loop, because the loop served its purpose and is no longer part of the new stream. That's the best way I can explain it.

I don't think I've read this one before. It's terrific. A very realistic portrayal of young Sev, imho. You could do more with this one, it could be a very interesting au story -- what happens if? But I know you got plenty on your plate right now. oh dear, it's like 3am... I should go to sleep. Thanks again.

I was wondering if you could make a sequal to this one. Like what happens now that things have changed so much. does SS and HR get together in the end? I think It would be great if Snape turned her into a Slytherin.
