I am thrilled with the update. Not many writers chose to deal with the Paradox. Bless you! It made sense to me and I am enjoying every nuance of Hermione's altered life so far. Thanks!

Im curious why ron is such an arsehole? Assuming he stays that way, or was that just when he was young (when he did care that he hurt hermione in the books). I guess Im wondering why events changing would affect him to any extent? And assuming Harry's parents are both alive and both gryffindor why him being in slytherin would make him as you've written him too? Just curious. I have wondered if without voldie harry would end up more like his father. Cant really see him raping her though.

666devil: Hi. :) Okay, this is my way of thinking or my premise for this story. Harry wasn't raised like he was with the Dursleys, which made him rather sympathetic to the plight of others who are mistreated. We had a touch of his character when it's said sometimes he was ashamed to be with Ron because he was poor and how he looked. More than likely Snape made sure to bring out Harry's darker, more selfish nature while under his charge, maybe he even indulged him, rewarding him for devious behavior, gave him "special" treatment. Snape most likely showed Harry his memories of his father and what a bully he was in school, so Harry would consider James to be a hypocrite if he told him to treat others better. Plus, Draco and Harry are friends. More than likely Draco's rubbed off on him too. Ron in this timeline came up with Harry, and I don't think Harry was that nice, and Ron more than likely followed along. He doesn't care anything about Hermione . . . why should he? Actually, Harry is a lot like his father was in Hogwarts. Proud, a bully, probably popular and stuck on himself. Of course, James matured in his later years, but Harry is still young and Snape's "guidance" for nine months out of the past seven years is going to beat out his father's two months a year. Snape is more a part of his life than his dad at this point, and is taking advantage of it.

I'm so glad you decided to continue this story, it is one of my favorites. My big question now is, since the Potters are alive can Severus please have some interaction with them? I think that could be great. :D
