Kia: Thank you so much for being supportive. If I get a good response, what I'm going to do is try to prepay as much as I can so I have credit on the utilities. I think I can do it since everything but the water is payable online. We just don't want to fall too far behind in the bills. We've applied for temporary foodstamps as well. She's expecting and left work earlier than she planned because she started having fainting spells and her job requires her to stand constantly. She's huge too. 32 weeks. And cranky. Very cranky. lol. So lovely to have you back. I enjoy how you've made Hermione ever so slightly ridiculous in comparison to Luna: "....checking her nails." I'm not even done with the latest additions to the story but this chapter amused me so much that I had to shout out.

I'm sure I don't have to tell you that you were missed around "here." I hope RL is treating you well these days.

Wow! I have to say that basilisk scene was exciting. I kind of got the impression Luna was going to be more important than she was in the battle, but I'm glad to see Hermione really came through. It was rather disturbing to see another witch as smart as her, but I guess smartness isn't everything. Courage and the ability to rise to an occasion counts more. It was thrilling and seemed as if EVERYTHING was lost. Severus was dying, the basilisk about to take the final blow, Fawkes was dead, Hercules was doing nothing . . . it was amazing how you brought victory out of such a situation. I'm really enjoying this story and looking forward to Snape/Granger action now that she's working closely with him. I like how Snape is holding back and acting properly, waiting for Hermione to graduate. And that stolen kiss! I loved it. Thanks so much for returning to HG/SS. This story is great!

Wouldn't she remember what happened in the past with snape. I can't wait to read more of this story.
