*Smirks* So, the author of Hermione's new found field guide on how to snag professor Snape was exiled? How typical. Men can't have themselves being outdone by a chick so they ban the book and make her leave Wizarding London. Hermione keeping the title and true nature of said book well hidden may prove a slightly difficult task. Of course I'm sure Hermione can handel it.

omg, love that background on cecilia. Too true, if it had been a man, he'd be congratulated (that was going through my mind too).

Wow. Just.. wow. I followed the link for the story from your other one and I must say, I was blown away. This story was fantastically well done. I hope its still actively being updated. It just surprised me that I've never run across it before on this site.
Either way, great job. I'm so impressed. I loved the character dynamics you've developed and the altered personalities in this incredibly AU world. The relationships are believable and the story is just impressive. Keep up the fantastic work. I'll be looking forward to it. =^^=

I read this entire fic last night and today. I have enjoyed it immensly. I can't wait to see Hermione follow the book's advice and Sev's reactions to it. I'd also like to see a bit more of the whole Neville/Luna and Harry/Ginny ships in here, as well. I am actualy quite fond of Slytherin Harry. For the most part I sometimes find the Harry/Ginny ship boring, these days. But when it's with a Slytherin Harry, I don't tend to mind it as much. I think they make a great couple and i can see their relationship driving everyone insane. Oh, but mainly I, of course, want more Snape/Hermione interactions. Keep it comming^^

Hiya SiriuslyInLuv71: No, the Marauders nor James thrill me too much as a whole, but I have to say I have a weakness for Remus Lupin. I've written about him a couple of times, and he's been a sex god every time, lol. He's a tragic character too. I think that's why I gravitate to him and Snape. James and Sirius were always all right. I like Neville too, same reason, he's had a hard life, but unfortunately I can't always write him like in this story. I can get away with the OOCness because of the plotline, but I can only take it so far.
Luna is growing on me, but that could very well be because I put my own spin on her, so she's not canon either. I like Voldemort, but only because of the many ways I can kill him off. lol. Sirius never did a thing for me, period. But I've written him for comedy relief from time to time because of his intense hatred of Snape, even from beyond the grave. He's always unrepentant too. lol.
No, I can't say there will be new Hermy/Snape stories, but there probably will be, I'm so stuck on them things pop into my head every day, whether I want them to or not, evident by the amount of shorts I've posted to let them out. But that prophecy or revelation really, was just for this story.

Ms_Figg, I am really enjoying the super-manipulative book Hermione's purchased. I think, though, that under the APPROACH section, the book's editors may have meant to use the word "CITE", as in "citation" instead of "SITE". Silly book.
Damn neat device, as usual. You are able to populate JKR's world with your own inventions so easily, it seems, but all of them fit in perfectly, as if by....magic!
Cheers

Hey Ms. Figg, I just wanted to say welcome back and I love the new story. I rarely review but I went ahead tonight because I saw something in the new chapter that I wanted to comment on. Hermione can't have quit Trelawney's class until at least 3rd year, not because of the old timeline but because Hogwarts students don't start their electives until 3rd year. I'm totally loving A Turn for the Better, the only thing that bothers me is that Hermione doesn't seem quite as smart as I'm used to thinking of her as, but great story and I'm glad you're back.

Domine: Thank you. I remember I wanted to go check that and somehow I didn't. I'll change it to third year as soon as I can. I appreciate you helping me stay on top of things. Sometimes the books run together on me. As for Hermione not seeming as smart, that's because she hasn't had much opportunity to show her stuff in this timeline. She always had to figure out things for Harry back in the old timeline. Her existence in this one has been pretty ordinary and mundane to be honest, although she did get to show her smarts in the chamber by figuring out a way to make Hercules crow and kill the basilisk. In this timeline, her marks reflect her smartness. She's a total academic. :)
