So lovely! I love Hermione's speech. It was very in character. :D she wouldn't let her dad push her around. Perfect! :D

OOoh! Yay! I'd thought to review last chapter and ask about the leopard print apprentice, and if he'd work in a little relationship that would drive Snape mad with jealousy, but I didn't see an opportunity, so I held my tongue.

I knew he had to make a return appearance; otherwise you wouldn't have given us his thoughts on the dagger and on Hermione. And you went into a lot of detail on his appearance when you breezed over the others at the Meeting of the Masters, though at the time I thought that he might just be the example...

It's like any form of wishing... if you say it out loud it won't come true...

Still, I hope Hermione's read-ahead-in-the-textbooks-to-be-prepared-for-class tendencies hold true of this budding relationship. He's already proved he has some substance, some intelligence, and Hermione will likely appreciate that. A new friend, at the very least, something she surely needs.

Plus, Snape will be going bonkers...

HA! HA! I LOVED this chapter. I rather enjoyed seeing the Masters having theirs asses practically handed to them when Hermione showed exactly how she killed the Basilisk. That bastard Vargas has one coming to him, doesn't he? Trying to kill Hermione...arrogant bastard!

I'm glad that they all sucked it up and accepted Hermione as Snape's apprentice. Not that they had much of a choice. She showed all of them that she can be just a tough as a male apprentice.

I'm eagerly anticipating your next update. Do I see a citrus orchard up ahead? Could it be LEMONS? Here's hoping that Hermione will be recovered enough for the excitement that your lemons usually entail.

OMG i just sat down to read all of that and loved all of it. especially that last chapter. course i was also imagining hermione telling all of them about her monthly and then having all the masters blanch and faint from horror LOL the tale thus far has been a wild ride and i was sad to come to the last update. Hope the muses don't leave you anytime soon and thank you very much for the entertaining journey :D
