Ooo, very good start! I don't normally read the first chapter of anyone that I had not previously read fics from before, but I was bored and read this. It was wonderful! Please hurry with your next chapter. Although not perfectly original (as you said), you write so well that you had me spellbound (and a little depressed that it ended so soon!).
