Wow Janice. I just posted a response to this same review on the Burning Pen site. You certainly believe in getting your point across :) Well I'll just paste the response here too. I also shared and talked about your comment in my live journal because I'm sure you reflect the feelings of a lot of readers. Here is the response:
Janice...I never said anything about Severus being a stud for the witch. The scenario is actually NOTHING like you are envisioning here. lol. Trust me, you are far off base in where you think my premise is going concerning the evil witch in this story. All I can tell you is...take deep breaths and wait...ok? Ok. And I just want to say something here about my personal outlook: I really like a Severus that is involved with only Hermione, but I can't always do that scenario simply because there are so many possibilities for his background. In this story, I've started it out with Severus already being emotionally invested in Hermione, and Hermione loving him but not the situation. It is highly doubtful that this particular incarnation of Hermione would accept Severus sleeping around for any reason...she's already put her foot down about him disappearing, I don't think dipping his wand would get an "I'll love you anyway" response. More than likely he'd get hexed and left. As it stands it seems Hermione already is ready to end the relationship, especially with her reaction to Malina's song, which reflects her feelings perfectly. So let's wait and see, all right Janice? My you are passionate about this pairing. :)))

Ch 3 - This will be interesting to see how this story develops, Ms Figg, especially since you are focussed on another story as your main one and this is a secondary one. I'm looking forward to watching (and reading) the developments that ensue.

THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would not have been able to leave off this story at just some Draco/OFC cause, this is Severus/Hermione.
And even though there has to be secrecy, I am glad that Hermione has put her foot down, Severus can not always leave her out, no matter if he thinks it is right.
Hermione is always such a driving force for them and the wizarding world, along with Severus.
This was wicked Ruth!
PEACE

I have read most of your stories, and I have enjoyed them. I am in awe of how much your writing has improved, though. You have a lot of emotion and interaction between the characters now, and it has made a world of difference in the way a story reads. Keep up the good work, and, even though I know you are busy, please keep this one-shot going. It has a lot of potential.

You say you don't know where you are going with this? Yippee! I love an unplanned story it's like a new rollercoaster you have never ridden. You never where the dips and hills are or what's around the next turn.

This will be worth the wait. You've got to do what you've got to do, and as a donater, I really do want to see all of the original story.
