Ch. 31 Mothers are scary when they're protecting their children, aren't they? However, I can understand Dumbledore's thinking if not his behavior. Many of the children at Hogwarts are privileged, pampered snobs (like Draco) who grow up with an inflated sense of importance. Such children might not be easily taught to rebel against someone like Voldemort. They might decide instead that it's smarter to fight on his side as well, especially if it maintains the status quo, gets rid of Mudbloods and keeps their superior station over Muggles. Dumbledore is only lucky that Harry didn't turn out to be a Muggle-hating snob like Draco; that might have made him a real danger.

But it was a treat to see that the old man can't get his way all the time. I haven't read all of the books yet but he does come off as being a manipulative old codger.

By the way, how old are the boys? I don't think you stated that in your story. Harry seems a little emotionally immature and sometimes he and Draco seem no older than 12 or 15; both ages would be too young to have a baby, wouldn't it? (I wonder how Harry will handle that news when it finally sinks in...)

Oh they need to get Harry out of Hogwarts. He's not safe anywhere near Dumbledore! I sooo need chapter 32!!!!

I love this story and I hope you update soon! I have always loved stories that bash Dumbledore and make Lucius at least somewhat of a good guy/loving parent. Keep up the good work.

Ch. 30 Joy! Oh, I'm so happy to see this story being continued! Dumbledore is being incredibly cruel to do so a thing to the two boys without even listening to what they have to say about it. But there has already been hints of his meanness by letting Harry remain with the Dursleys when they kept him in the cupboard. I'm sure Narcissa will have a word to say about that.

Great chapter I can't wait to see what happens next!
