Awwwww, it was such a hot scene btw. Harry and Severus! Randy old vampire not letting his mate rest. I guess it was for both of them a way to reassure themselves that the other is alive and well. Haha, can't believe Harry just let go of the issue of bearing the air. Maybe he was still sluggish after his recovery, no idea. But that should have made him alert and panicked in an instant at any other time, I think... Still not the end of trouble for the both of them? They truly lead a hard life. Even though Severus wants to protect Harry as much as possible from what's coming trouble and mayhem finds that boy everywhere :D Thank you for the great chapter :) SinfulMind

This is a nice story, went a little different than I thought and I'm not too sure if I like the mpreg element...but, well, still nice. Are we getting close to the end?

Ch. 17 I've been remiss in reviewing this story, sorry. I like the slightly different twist on the Ministry Marriage Law trope, with the emphasis being on begetting babies rather than on marriage itself. Refreshing. "If Draco was going to try and sabotage Ron and Hermione’s relationship, Harry was going to do everything in his power to help his best friends stay together." - Oh, Harry, I don't think Hermione's going to be grateful if you interfere! I hope you don't mind if I offer a couple of corrections: // " . . . and in your current state I wouldn’t risk letting you out beyond the castle walls less you lose control like you did last night.”. . . . // (from Chapter 15, I think) It should be "lest you lose control," meaning "for fear of" or in this case, "for fear that." Also, apostrophes are not needed for plural nouns (e.g., Dursleys, Potions, Slytherins) unless they're also possessive (e.g., the Potions' classroom, the Dursleys' house, the Slytherins' common room). Bad bad Severus. Very bad mate for not being there when Harry woke up and tending to him afterwards. It SHOULD be HIM caring for his mate and not OCTAVIUS!!! I'd feel hurt if I were Harry. Well, revenge is sweet so now Snape has to wait for his turn to talk with Harry :D I am very glad Harry is alive, though of course, we probably all suspected that he would make it in the end. I wonder how Draco must be feeling knowing he had a part in "killing" Harry when he decided to spear old Voldie with the Gryffindor Sword. Young dragon must be plagued by guilt since he learned the truth. Or maybe they kept it from him, hmm... we don't know, not yet anyway. I do really like Octavia even though I would never want to be one of his mates (he has much too many of those and is still looking!). Nevertheless, he proved to be a loyal and caring friend to both Severus and then his mate :) Thank god he didn't need to SCAN Harry, I don't think I would survive it! By the way, I am really surprised Harry hasn't miscarried. A strong lad he is, indeed. Not that I wanted him to, I am so so glad he didn't!
