Okay, I finally read it. Aside from a few tiny plotholes and the occasional spelling/grammer/wrong word mistake, it's pretty good. The song's kinda cliche, you tend to be repetative with phrases, and you missed something pretty big, which is kinda sad for a hardcore HP fan. In the fourth book it was revealed that the Sorting Hat has a new song every year, which was missed the previous two years thanks to the flying car incident and the discussion the next year leading to Hermione's timeturner. Correct me if I'm wrong, I've only read the books once apiece, twice for the first one. You didn't add in the song sung by the Sorting Hat every year.
