That was so sad, I was literally in tears. I believe that you captured the true measure of the man. The cruelty and abuse he has suffered all his life would turn him into the man he became, hard, bitter, untrusting and yet sad, lonely and desperate for love and acceptance. Again beautifully written, and thank you for sharing your talent and such a wonderful story with us. Toodles.

Poor Severus he just can't seem to let go of the past. Hermione is so good for him. and I love the sweet and tenderness between them. So sad too though. Love it. please update soon.

I finally made the time tonight to read your story and I'm so glad that I did. While I find it odd to read of a crying Severus, it works in your story. I'm looking forward to the rest.

I can't believe that this is only your third review. This is a wonderful story and so beautifully written. I tried to review last night but the stupid computer wouldn't load and it was lost, no matter, I'm here now. I love this story, you have me hook, line and sinker. I'm definately in for the long haul. Yay another chappie. Poor Severus he thinks he's undeserving of any love or kindness. I hope Hermione can prove to him she loves and adores him. and show him what love can be.
