As always, you are true to the internal frame you create, and I love that. Somewhere in a 14th century grimoire it states that a wizard must be mad to make a deal with a demon, because it also requires absolute faith in god to make it work. I think you just illustrated that point beautifully.

Your plot bunny is erudite and fascinating. 'The Grey Man of Ben Mac Dhui'? You don't happen to have a degree in folklore or european anthropology, do you? More!

Anon: lol. No degrees here, I'm afraid. But I do have good reading comprehension and a vivid imagination. So I just research what I'd like. I need a master that has some possible basis, located in a remote area, who has a bit of mysterious lore around him. He's going to be very different from the true myth, but some aspects of him will fit the myth. He's just going to be 'more' than he's portrayed. I'll create a dark history for him, and a reason for him to latch on to Hermione.

OMG! You really updated, that's amazing. The story progression is really good, I can't wait till Hermione seduces Severus. I think Draco got what was coming to him and his bastard father deserves some of the same. Anyways, please continue to update: )

I had actually run across this in the archive several months ago, and had wondered how it might play out if Hermione had such power. Myself, I have no problem if you decide to use multiple pairings as well as an HG/SS format, it would make an interesting change. Carry on, I say.
