Miss Figg maybe for me is the one messing with your ratings. The last ones you put up are all four stars right in a row. she sounds jealous to me and maybe no one is reading her work. Your stories are all good au stories. Dont let people like that discorage you or stop you from writing. A lot of us love you. Thajnks

Anon: Yes I did notice the ratings, but there's really nothing I can do about it. I know when I look at a new story I don't really check the ratings but read the first few paragraphs to see if it holds my interest. Hopefully others do that as well. To tell the truth, I don't have time to worry about jealousy or ratings...shoot...I don't even have time to read any other stories...I'm so busy writing. :) Thanks for being supportive and don't worry. I'm not discouraged a bit.***

Pardon the expression - I'M HOT TO TROT FOR A SECOND ROUND! - As to the reviewer who flamed you - if they don't like what you write, why are they reading your stories. It's not as if they are required to pay to read. It's not mandatory to hit each fic as they appear. As to writing fantasy stories using the HP universe - heck, it's just for fun. Every writer is taking advantage of the creativity of JKR and branching off. Not one fan written fiction can be considered cannon, regardless of how they put it - It's not their idea in the first place.
NOW HASTE YE BACK TO THE QUILL AND PARCHMENT = YIKES! MORE SMUT, MORE, I SAY!

ooh...this Severus was nasty and HOT! damn Figgy. So different from the other story you are working on. And tell for me to go sod off! You have some of the most original, entertaining and hot storylines about this ship on AFF and what's amazing is you say you don't plot stories. You write so fast how would you even have time? Accusing you of stealing plots and lines is just idiotic. There are going to be similiarities in fanfic stories. For me just sounds jealous and bitter and used this review board to vent it. You should delete that bullshit. I don't review often but I read. I like your work. Screw off for me!

I'm not the one who is apparently disgusted and used that as a nickname to leave a review, but i can think i can answer your question for her(him?).
You abuse the HP books to write smut, no not smut, porn.
I don't mind people writing HGSS smut, it's just that you SUCK at it. Every single story you write IS a PWP! You may take long in telling some PWP's (up to 115 pages) but they are nothing more than PWP's. Most of the plots and some lines (those stick out like sore thumbs) are stolen from far better fics and you abuse them to get your OOC Snape and v

For me: Wow, that was rather scathing. Obviously you don't like my stories. Ah well. :::shrugs::: I am a far from perfect writer. And I write fantasy erotica aka SMUT. Purposely. I like SMUT and that is always my intention to add lemons to every single story I write. I started out writing SMUT and probably will continue to do so. As far as everything being a PWP, that's why I post on an ADULT fan fiction site. I write Alternative Universe stories so I can add gay vampires, raven familiars, dodo birds, crossbreed wizards with telescoping penises, masturbating demons and whatever else strikes my fancy. That's the first thing you read when you click on my author page, Alternate Universe. Hell I can stick Snape on a subway car in Brooklyn if I want. And nifflers make the perfect lab animal. Why the hell not? As far as correcting hymen placement...I mean...doesn't that make sense to do rather than leave the error? And continue to describe it correctly? If someone takes the time out to point out a glaring, glaring mistake, shouldn't I listen? End of story. And of course having sex doesn't make a girl a woman, technically. I never claimed it did. Yeah, hitting the cervix hurts. I used to LOVE it when my man did it to me. But that's neither here nor there. These are STORIES my dear, not commentaries or even reflections of how I feel about a matter. In my stories, Severus IS a sexgod...that's the way I fantasize about him. I'm as stuck on the wizard as any of the readers and like to imagine him dominating, controlling and wicked in the sack. Most of the time, though he isn't always that way. So sue me. Everything I write is fantasy. Yes there are errors and inconsistencies, and yes canon isn't always taken into consideration. I make up a lot of histories that veer far, far to the left. All I can do is fix what's wrong and keep on keeping on. As far as the Americanisms, hey I'm not British. I'm pretty sure though when the books came out, some were slightly adjusted for us Yanks. Nuff said bout that.
I'd have a beta if they could keep up with me. But they can't so I don't. It has nothing to do with respecting the readers. If what I write is unreadable, then they won't read it. Pretty much self-correcting, don't you think? I write obsessively, it is my therapy and my joy. Whatever errors I make and see when reading the stories again, I can correct myself. So what if the story pops back up to the top? The fucking world isn't going to end. (Pardon me readers) As far as getting into the heads of my versions of the characters, I do what I can.
Nothing I write is plotted and I just write stories that I would enjoy myself as a reader, I never know how they are going to turn out, but if it keeps me entertained while writing it...it works for me. Some people enjoy what I write, and some don't. Just because you wrote a small book on what you feel is wrong with my stories doesn't mean I am going to stop writing them. I can't help that people get into reading them as much as I get into writing them. It's not my fault they leave squeee reviews if they like it. They can write what the hell they want to write. I'm not going to look down on them because they didn't "go into detail." though I appreciate those that do. Basically for me, I write what I like and if they like it too, more power to them...if they don't...like you...more power to them. So that makes me a review whore because a lot of people review what I write? Yeesh. Listen to yourself. Like I guide their fingers on the keyboard. :::shaking head:::
And Raucous isn't cliche either. He's an original rebel :::throwing up the fist for Raucous:::: And slapping balls against the ass?...man oh man :::fanning::: I just think I am too twisted for my own good. I do appreciate your candor, however and you can trust your review will remain right where it is for the world to see. But I won't be going back and forth with you about this. I think you did a very adequate job on your commentary, and I'm going to be straight about this...I will delete anything else about this topic. On the other hand, you are welcome to comment on the story like anyone else, even if it is to rag. Cool? I hope so. Oh, and thank you for your review.
