This is in response to the scathing remarks from the person who was too cowardly to leave their name. ID#3000046043.
You obviously have read a lot of Ms_Figg's work, if not all of it, lol, for you to pick it apart the way that you did. From your "review" I found no con-crit whatsoever, just a lot of bashing and hating that really just shows how very, very jealous you are of not only her work- but her large following. I read loads of fanfics but I always read Ms_Figg's first. Why? Not only does she- contrary to your belief- write well but she also writes the best lemons~ sex scenes~ smut...whatever you want to call it.....she does it best. She is prolific in her writing and updates daily. She also writes in Alternate Universe and in case you didn't get what that means the first time she posted it.....it's pretty self explanatory. Hermione doesn't have to be canon, neither does Severus. Lots of us happen to love masochistic Hermione and dominant Severus. It's a turn on. If you think most women are reading fanfics for their deep meanings and poetic prose- you're sadly mistaken-lol! Ms_Figg's stories always come with imaginative plotlines and original characters who are almost- and in some case just as compelling as JK's. I think it's all sour grapes on your part- pure, unadulterated jealousy and you showed your own ass by that so-called 'review'. Or you would have, had you had the stones to actually leave your name! If you dislike her work so much, do us all a favor and stop reading and 'reviewing'. Leave that to the many, many others who enjoy what she writes immensely.

oh, and after reading that lovely anonymous 'review' you got (you know what i'm talking about) i was actually more offended by THAT than anything you've ever written. who is to say a small woman cannot have natually large breasts? i am 5'3" 120 lbs and am a D cup. YES. i don't consider myself 'fat' at all. in fact, i am quite tiny everywhere else. all of my measurements are completely proportionate to each other. and whoever has the fucking NERVE to say women cannot look like that is a moron of the most extreme kind. i applaud your description of hermione as being curvy yet small. because that is exactly how i am built.

if that idiot cannot fathom the idea of SMUT fic, what are they doing on an adult fanfiction website? it seems like something they should be avoiding if they cannot handle the material written here.

i am just as much a lover of canon HP as i am fantasy snape/hermione fanfic. but there is a distinct difference between the two. and i think some people have a hard time realising that fact.

so MY message to anonymous...stick foot back in mouth. and fuck off. ;)

I posted the review above before I read for me diatripe - Listen, for me, I don't have a beta either, and I write sex in my stories. Guess what, who bloody cares? This is an Adult site, if you want to read mushy HG stories go elsewhere. I will defend Ms Figg.

Ms Figg - I started reading the one with Raucous, and I did not like it, sorry... (not a flame review) I didn't find it funny, but that hasn't stopped me from reading all your other ones. I happen to think you're good. So what if there are americanisms... I am british personally and I put a lot of British slang in mine. The first rule of writing is to write what you want to read. Personally I prefer a bit of plot with my smut, but there are times when I don't have enough time to read a plot, and so I read yours - in fact your Sex.God Snape helps me dream at night and forget my pain and misery. We seem to both write and not have a beta for the same reason. I happen to respect you for that, as I write pretty damn quickly. I update practically everyday, I'd just find a beta would get in the way, and I agree, we ain't being paid to write the stories.

I have tried PWPs. I don't get many reviews when I do it, but I can write the ones with plot. As long as I drop in a bit of smut every now and then they're happy. I can't help but plot... I read yours with envy... wishing I could be brave enough to write some of the terminology you write. But I don't swear, and I find certain words embarrassing to think let alone write... so, yes, in a small way you help me escape.

As for sticking to canon - like there's time to reference the books for every small insignificant detail. I'm sure I've strayed from Canon, but then I work from memory. I write what I can. The reason I write Hermione a lot is because we don't know too much about her past before Hogwarts, so she's pretty much a blank canvass.

My personal favourite that you've written is the Halloween one... I prefer sensitive caring Snape... as I said in my previous review, I liked this one though.

KEEP IT UP! CAN'T WAIT TO READ YOUR NEXT ONE! YOU GO GIRL!

Bella: Ah, a kindred spirit. So you are an obsessive writer too who updates daily...very cool. Now I don't feel so alone. :) When I finish Hallow's Eve, I'm going to go check out your work. Yep...it's how I hold it together girl. Writing these stories keep me entertained and focused on something other than probs. Others enjoying them is just a plus. But you know, there are going to be "elitists" everywhere, trying to make everyone follow their literary standards. Man, in the poetry circles...forget it. I've seen fistfights break out over poems. I used to sit in critique sessions and listen to about 10 other poets critique my work and the work of others. And they are HARSH. It's like the sole purpose is to completly stop the person from writing at all, people crying, running out the room, ripping up their work...etc...etc. You have to fight for every freaking stanza. lol. So I'm used to hearing crap and critiques about what works and what doesn't according to the gospel of whoever is speaking, particularly since I like to go out of the box when I write. I can't go out the box with HG/SS writing canon, so I stick with Alternate Universe/Alternate Reality and do what I like. For me was light action, believe me. If she/he had stuck to attacking the work and not me it would have been a better commentary. :::shrugs::: It was peppered with assumptions. Never good when trying to make a serious point.

The only issue I really had was the accusations of stealing ideas and such. That's plain crazy. I won't even write storylines or plot bunnies given to me by others simply because they aren't my ideas. I can't get into them, interesting as they are. I've tried but feel like the story isn't mine. Can't do it. Now I have written stories on a simple idea someone may have given me, such as Daddy Dearest, when a reader said she'd like to see a story where Snape wasn't responsible. That was all she requested. It captured my imagination and interest. But if she had gone into more depth, like the situation and so forth, I wouldn't have written it.

People who steal others' work deserve to be stripped, whipped and hit with a few Cruciatus curses. Very low down. If you have to do that, you shouldn't write. I don't have to do it. My mind is chock full of enough twistedness trying to get out that I'm constantly writing, having no idea what's going to happen in the story. Like I said, I'm obsessed...obsessed people focus only on what obsesses them.

As far as Raucous goes, he's just not for everyone. None of my OC's are really. But thanks so much for the encouraging words and the support hon. I really appreciate it. *** And thanks for getting me blabbing. I guess I just needed to vent a bit.

Thank God for naughty little ficlets. I like seeing them in relationships but the sex by itself is nothing to sneeze at. Oh, to find a man like Sevie.

Very bad Snape. I do prefer the more sensitive Snape, but this story was really good.
