Severus fails. Why couldn't he slit her throat or something before she got raped?

And so Snape's noble heart shines through once again! Good story. I soooo love snape. It is too bad he and Hermione are so far apart in age.

wow...this fic...stupefied me after i read the final sentences, literally. love as a poisonous emotion? fire of gryffindor? final good deed? the mock toast? snape turning out to be a tragic hero?!!! brava!!!! bravo!!!! i love this fic and you my man! the fierceness of your well chosen words pierced my heart like a true shot arrow! i don't get to read quality fics like this everyday you know. and the fact that both were the last members of the order didn't faze the brilliant story either. i truly salute you on this magnificent piece of literature POISONED LOVE. i proudly raise my glass to you, my good man!
