I normally don't read fanfics a whole lot, except to glance over a few that my friends recommend to me. However, yours seemed to call out to me from the computer screen one night, so I started reading it. This is the most beautiful thing I've read based in the HP universe so far. It is breathtakingly tragic, and very real. I've lost count how many times I've come close to tears from reading this fic. You have done a wonderful job with it, and I think the saddest part is yet to come, and that will be when I get to read the final chapter. I can't wait for more of this story, and I hope there is still plenty left.

Well, I guess at least something good came of the suicide attempt. I was sooooo wrong, man! Menopause. Sheesh. Sucks for her. (and her family)

I usually mainly hate Ron in whatever I happen to read and this seems to be no exception, though I feel some pity for him too. He's just a perfect example of a certain type of person that a bit too many of my relatives also represent: too weak to deal with difficult life and constantly drowning their worries in drinking. This has actually nothing to do with the story, just my own personal rant:D Oh, actually is has: damn Ron for doing that to Draco!

I feel sorry for both Draco and Harry. They certainly haven't had anything easy and it seems they still won't have, even though they now have each other and even though they still don't admit feeling anything bigger for one another. But maybe it just needs to be slow, because they're both healing in their own ways and healing is a quite fragile process; if anything rash happened, it could shatter everything - as we saw in this chapter.

Glad you're updating this as often as you do, can't wait for the next one!
