I continually check for updates of this fic, so the fact that it has taken me until chap 38 to give you feedback makes me feel really appalled at myself - still better late than never (yeah?)
This fic is wonderful on so many levels. I love the wounded, vulnerable Draco / flawed but decent Harry scenario.I have read many fics of this genre, however your story has to be one of the most beautifully crafted realistic fics that I have read. Every chapter has had lines that have stayed with me long after I have finished reading - too many to go back and list, when Draco tells Harry that he had hoped that Harry would kill him when he found him on the Burrow doorstep stands out as a good example.
I love the pace of this story. That fact that you didn't have Draco and Harry overcoming their respective damage and falling into bed at chap. 5 was a relief. I wonder Samayel,if you have had training in trauma and relationship counselling as your insightfull writing certainly suggests this. I think chapter 38 with Dula's beautiful words of comfort and encouragement to Draco are a perfect example of this. The sentiment that we are all flawed in some way but still deserving to be loved has touched me and given me something to keep in mind in RL.
Harry and Draco's building attraction and desire is beautiful to watch develop. I love your Draco and how he can still have hope and strength after all that he has endured. The way he has the courage to open up to Dula about sex and love is endearing. I love your Dula also and the special friendship that he and Draco are finding
I guess what I am saying is that I love both this fic and your writing and am off to explore your other fics.

im happy dula is willing to help, even if it is only a bit because even if he didnt do anything it would help draco know that hes not alone in this. have a wonderful christmas whether you celebrate it or not!

I have been reading this story for a couple of weeks and I must say, I absolutely love it! The whole vigilante/ninja Harry is so ccol, but then you have infused him with such compassion for others. Nice touch. The journey that Draco must take to heal and learn to trust and love again is bittersweet. I also love your Dula character. He is an absolute dream.
Nice twist with Dumbledore's revelations. This should prove interesting.
I also love the fact that you post almost every day! I would hate to wait longer than that for an update. :)
