Love the premise of Snape falling for someone short and voluptuous/plump. After all my hubby really is a LOT like a lot of the writers portray Snape, and he fell for me, and I'm 5 foot tall with large breasts and yes, I'm plumper than I would like to be. I was 34, also, when we got married.
I don't, however, like the new Professor putting herself down. A LOT of men like short, very curvy women, and personally, while I would like to be somewhat thinner I have NEVER wanted to be tall, thin, or willowy. Its too bad she can't be more confident.

Great start, I really like Amanda and it seems Severus has taken quiet an interest in her. *Grins* I look forward to when you update.

I really enjoyed this first chapter; definitely an original premise, and I can't wait to see how it develops.
