You reeeeally have to update this! I wish I could be constructive but at the moment my brain isn't really in order. I loved reading this - so many times I just had to giggle out loud or lean forward in my seat and it's only six chapters! I love how in-character Draco and Harry are, their interaction is realistic and feels like an extension of the books even though the end of the war was glossed over - it's not part of the plot so that's fine. I also like the realism you've given this story in the emotions and events and I would love another chapter! Keep it up!

Oh and reading the other reviews - just because SOME people don't like the kind of story you're writing doesn't mean it isn't awesome. If it's not constructive about your writing ignore it. Sob stories and immaturity happen in life, get over it. That's actually what most stories are about working through. *gasp* how novel! lol.
There aren't black and white boxes for events - people are irrational and immature most of the time. I think the rationality you have behind the story works perfectly - Dumbledore's blood is different from any-old-blood because of what it represents. Sorry if this addition seems pointless but if a review isn't encouraging I don't think it should be posted.

quote---You aren't the only one that thought I had failed when I didn't kill him. When I went back to the Dark Lord I had to plead just for him to not murder me on the spot! I had to beg to keep my life because I couldn't take another's! Do you know how much blood I had to spill and abuse I had to take to get back in the group just so I could get you the information you so desperately needed?! Do you have any idea what I had to go through just so I could help you!? No! I don't think you do!" Draco wished there weren't witness around so he could brutalize Harry.---end quote

Okay well Draco did fail at the task Voldemort set for him. Whether or not Draco was going to be a spy he would of had to spill blood and take the abuse Voldemort dished out. That is the life a Death Eater. Nothing particuarl special about that. People who are rotting in Azkaban did the same thing. Why would they belive Draco to be a spy anymore than they would Snape to be not trustwrothy?

(Unless this fic spouts the very untrue reason that Snape was really a bad guy. It was so obvoius that he was good in Book 6 such Snape-really-bad!fics are silly. But that's Gryiffindor blinders for you.)And I am sure no one asked Draco to be a spy for the Light. No one asked Draco to kill people (spill blood) in order to get information. It is like defeating the purpose of NOt killing Dumbledore. And Dumbledore's purpose of trying to save him. It would be more convincing that he didn't want to be a bad guy to just seek out the Light before killing anyone.....maybe.

I love HP/DM but as far as this fic is concerned if everytime Harry sees Draco and just a bit of dread pops up, it is understandable. Apparently not so great things happen when he is around. Apparently Harr never really trusted Draco. Just by writing Harry to be a most 'ungrateful' and immature character won't change the fact that his reaction and dislike are to be expected and normal. He can overcome this but Hermione's whining and chastising are not the way. People don't like to be told what to do or how to feel. It just makes them more hard headed. Encouraging encounter and letting things work out by themselves is better.

Guess my point is the both Draco and Harry sob story in this fic. But since they are both equally tragic the 'oh, I didn't realise' factor is not working cause it goes both ways. DM and HP don't know anything about each other but it is what they do know that they don't like despite their hardships. The best argument so far has been 'Harry, the world doesn't revolve around you.' but then an equally valid argument is ' I don't like him have good enough reason not to, so deal with it.'

the last two chapters here (on chpt 6 now) make up for the first 4 in a big way. Actually got somewhere believably. No shouting contests that just spouted the same sob story for pity disgusied as lonliness but understanding of those basics and very human way to move forward. I am not saying what I want to say right but I really like chapter 5 and 6.
