I love to see what the promise of hot nookie has tempered their reactions to each other.

Goodness Lucius can be such an old goat can't he? Why is he so upset about a fathering a half blood when his heir already has done so? I makes no sense.

I must say, I quite enjoyed this story. Lucius was very much in character and in keeping with canon and fanon alike. The ending was sweet without being diabetic and the journey to get there just as satisfying. I always thought it would make more sense to have more children when you actually have the funding to take care of them. Lucius' emotional journey was very realistic, going from cold and implacable and to warm and (mostly) fuzzy without that losing that Malfoy charm that we all love about one of our favorite Death Eaters. I did think the bit with Snape and Pamela was a nice touch as Snape wouldn't be exempt from the edict either. Overall, brilliant work. My only regret is that it ended. :)

I like this Lucius, a bit naughtier and less brooding, and a lot Lucius. I can never decide if he is a cold SoB waiting to be thawed out his shell; or a hot, reckless man. I have read this more than once.
