You absolutely HAVE to continue! I hope you don't abandon this, as many other writers do.
By the way, I don't think it's very similar to HSSHSH. The basic idea is the same, yes, but's that's the case for nearly all of the stories out there, I have yet to read a story idea written after book six which hasn't been done before. In fact, that being the case, I think your story is quite unique.

Heck yeah you should continue this! It's awsome! To your question on how to continue....i would go with Snape going to dumbledore and telling him, but dumbledore doesn't believe him. Then Snape tries to get harry out of the submissive position he was forced into...i dunnno....i could co-write with you if you wanted me too but you'll have to submit chapters. Great story thus far. I absolutely adore "Summer Hols", and I'm glad you're writing a similar fic. I know I'm not the first review you've gotten, so I'd definitely encourage you to keep writing this fic.

I know you may want to breeze by all those Hogwarts years, but you've got to cover at least some incidents unless this is going to be completely AU. You'll probably have to spend several chapters writing about Harry's school years in order to make sense of the years after Hogwarts. Another suggestion is to do them in flashbacks, but that also makes the writing more difficult. You can jump from year to year fairly quickly, but some things will HAVE to be explained. As for the next chapter, I'd pick up right where you left off because you didn't really finish Snape's thoughts about what happened to Harry.

Before looking for another author, I'd strongly urge finding a good beta. Beta's review and edit and give you ideas of where to go, etc... I'm not the most experienced beta, but I'd be willing to help if you'd like.

Lastly, for an idea of how to jump from year to year quickly, I reference Sentinel in the Shadows by lilyseyes. It starts when Harry is five, but moves quickly yet effectively through his younger years. I'd at least recommend giving the first part a good read. I definately want you to continue this fic. For ideas... A talk with the Headmaster is an order and probalby a visit to the hospital wing. Severus also needs to help Harry work through his many brainwashing but I don't know how exactly. I hope you find a co-author. This fic has a lot of potentiel.
