I read this story a long time ago. It's one of my favorites. I'm hoping you'll do a part II. This was such an interesting blend of Harry Potter and Little Red Riding Hood. I really liked how it turned out.

Every now and then I find a story on AFF that surprises me. It grabs and won't let go, and it's actually a good read. This is definitely one of those. It's original, and you got the otherwordly/fairy tale atmosphere just right. There's been a move to re-tell fairy tales for adults (in which, incidentally, the Red Riding Hood story usually gets treated with some kind of rape theme), and with some editing this would fit right in. Makes me wish the favorites function was working again. This would definitely be on my list. :) Brilliant work!
