I know it's a bit weird to review the same story twice, but I can't stop thinking about this one; it has been on my mind for a couple of days now. I think the premise is perfect - the abused girl who is 'saved' by Lucius' tender (and not so tender) attentions. It's brilliantly conceived and executed; I am just in awe. Anyway, I'll stop now before I exhaust all the superlatives. I'm sure more will be called for soon... But at the moment, I have to say this is my favourite fic of yours, my favourite Lucius-centric fic, and in the running for my all-time favourite. It's classic.

Hi LaBib,

I feel really bad, I should have reviewed this story ages ago, but I didn't. You see I actually read this when you were writing it and I thought it was wonderful. I used to wait anxiously for each chapter, checking every night to see if you updated. Of course, back then I never reviewed anything. I was too shy and figured no one really wanted to hear my opinion. Not to mention, it seems like every time I write a review, I see a grammatical error in it the next day, which drives me crazy. Of course now that I am writing myself, I know how much it means to get a review. So anyway, while I know it is almost too late, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your story.

I loved how you had Lucius set up like a King in Azkaban. That is so classic! It reminded me of this old 70s movie I once saw late at night called

Oh my God, this is freakishly fantastic. I salute your fervid and inventive imagination and your crystalline prose. I just wish I hadn't read it all in one sitting but had eked out the pleasure a little more...now I feel as if I've eaten a big box of Belgian chocolates all in one go...though obviously minus the nausea and weight gain... That scene with the hooks and the quirt (quirt? How quaint! More q words needed in fiction generally, I feel) was so utterly up my street it was eerie. I might be revisiting that one when the need arises.

Wow!! I just read the story right the way through and I loved it. SO original and I love how you portrayed Lea, she fitted into the Potterverse wonderfully. Beautifully written. Can't wait to read more from you :) *gives you muffins*

This is an absolutely beautiful story, and was, wonderfully and surprisingly, not what I expected at all. How pleasant to see Lucius go through so many changes and yet still remain in character. I also liked Lea very much; she is a very good match for him. So glad to see that she will also be happy.

Please keep writing!

Wonderful ending! I'm sad cuz it's over by now, but I'm also very glad you found a good end without force. Your characters remained themselves, the plot was amazing, and I'm definitely looking forward to your next story. Really well done, hon! I loved every single chapter of it!! :)
