well personally i like the name stone, or you name adan. as for the year he is in you would want it to be within the last 50 years or so that way he is not really old when he gets back to his time. since wizards age half as fast as muggles after hitting ruffly the age of 20. an i see ron dumbledore an it sounded like gold digging ginny are all showing their true colors.

I have to say that putting "better written English" down on your list of things to learn would be good idea. At this point it doesn't really matter how good plot you might have because most readers will probably stop reading after couple chapters and a headache. It's not good sing when you have to read the text two three times to understand the meaning of it.
You are missing and mixing lot of words in your sentences so they end up meaning totally different thing than what you probably meant, like fund<->found.
