*sobs uncontrollably* That was simply one of the most touching and beautiful stories I have read. I am not a fan of H/G or Hr/R, but this was so heartbreaking you couldn't help but feel yourself pining for their lost loves. This story helps to show the true horrors of war and how easy it is to lose almost an entire family in one fell swoop, something which sadly happens all too often during times of conflict, and just how impossible it is for those left behind to ever fully recover.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us, it is one I will long remember.
