Ch 17 - I think Hermione's father is understandably cautious about a son-in-law he doesn't even know and moving to a house he's never seen, but given enough time and information he would be happier with things. (Plus there seem to be portraits or something nasty in the house that don't like Muggles, guessing from your cliffhanger.) I'm glad you're giving Severus his own special someone; no, he's not stupid for not asking Lily out right away, as I notice she didn't even say she's unattached after all these years. I'm sure you'll bring them together in a bit. Thanks for posting!
