ouch. does not even begin to explain what just happened. boy those griffendor qualities really are bad news, they just seem to get them in more trouble. thougt you cant truely just blame her if lucius had just given her even a small explaination it would have done a world of good, she would have understood. well i have just read this story for the first time and am enjoying it greatly and would love another update. you are so funny!

Ch 12 - What a fantastic twist to your tale. It increases the tension immeasureably. I can't believe she was so stupid as to not think of the ancestors moving between portraits. Mind you, Lucius' brother seems rather charming. Mind you, it's interesting that Mrs. Black has never let the secrets of Grimmauld Place out in canon, isn't it? I've also wondered how they knew a witch or wizard was not pureblooded. Maybe it's because they are so few in number that they are all known to one another. Anyway, this chapter was as I said, fantastic.

Ok...there is some inconsistency here. Lucius freaked over the portraits knowing about Hermione, but Mrs. Black mentioned Hermione at both Grimmauld and the manor gallery, implying that she has access to information from both places, so she would have been able to share the information already.
