Haha! Oh dear. I was going on and on in my email to you, wondering whether Anastas would destroy Voldemort from within, when not two sections down in this chapter you answer that question! I feel silly. Also, I love how ruthless Anastas is. *filled with unholy glee*
Is Anastas going to manifest the Harpy or Veela traits? Or in some bizarre Harry-esque twist of fate, some of both? *feels even more unholy glee* It will be interesting to see how Alauda handles this development. Does Anastas know yet that he is likely to manifest one of the two?
As if Anastas isn't currently suffering enough, but the headmaster wants to...invite him up for tea?! No one needs the stress of Dumbledore's tea meetings. *shudder*
I can't wait until this gets back to his father and to Voldemort. What fascinating things for Voldemort to ponder over, and I think it'd be good for Evaristo to know...
I wonder, will Anastas return before curfew? What can the staff do, as they wouldn't find him in a search, and how would Anastas explain *that*?

Oh, I'm not confused. You've explained everything very well.
Anastas is a very vivid mix of himself, all things concidered. He plays his part to near-perfection. Poor kid, though. Being in the same class(es) as his 'father'. How confusing all this must be! But he's handling it wonderfully. Now all he has to do is come up with a reasonable explaination of his fears.
Can't wait for chapter 2!

Considering their betrayal, who is now Harry's enemy? I mean, does he still desire to destroy Voldemort? Or does he now want to destroy Dumbledore and/or the ministry? (Randomly, is this Voldemort in personality or ambition different from the Voldemort from Harry's original universe?) Either way, however is Voldemort going to get Anastas on his side? Not that Anastas will be fooled into siding with Voldemort. I wonder, can he be wooed onto Voldemort's side? Forced? Come to it on his own? Make Voldemort join *him* instead? *cackles*
Randomly, you used the names Hyacinth and Richard in the same sentence and my mind couldn't help but jump to the television show Keeping Up Appearances. Was the name use accidental or on purpose? I'm just curious, and had to ask because the thought jumped out at me.
All of this adds up to, basically, please for the love of all that is holy and sinful and tasty, update!!! Update anything, or everything. God, I need to catch up on ID (life has been...hectic to say the least). I just have SO MUCH LOVE for your work. The plot, the twists, the delightfully devious and dark Harry. The HP/LV. *happy sigh*
