I like this story very much.
It has an amazingly snarky Snape, a strong willed Hermione, some nice Ron-bashing... what more could we want from a SS/HG story?

I've read the whole story through from yesterday morning to 3am this night... I loved it thoroughly and had quite a few laughs in the process... but I have to say your little 'summary' doesn't do it justice. I saw the story for weeks, always on the search for the few good stories in the heap of Hermione-Snape fics and never gave it a chance (until now) because the summary did not seem very promising...

I loved Severus' struggle! (Though I have to admit the Hermione-Ron thing was hard to stomach, but you know that of course)

I just wanted to tell you, I LOVE your portrayal of Snape. I love the fact that he's kind of "ugly sexy" and that he's so multi layered. I even went digging around to find the rest of your stories just to read more of your writing! I look forward to seeing the story progress!

I have been a fan of this story for a very long time, I have it as a favorite in Ashwinder. Will you be updating there as well? I hope so because I will be able to read it as often as I want with out a major search. This is such a great story, I'm so happy it hasn't been abandoned.

I agree with your statement about DH and Severus, besides JKR left tons of wiggle room to work with. Can't wait for the next chapter and I hope you update on Ashwinder. I noticed many authors are still doing this ship, so in a way, he lives on.

in regards to your second author's note***** you are correct, all the characters belong to JKR and they are hers to do with as she pleases. i think a lot of this "screw JKR, what dose she know" crap that is going around is more from venting fear and sadness than disrespecting her creation.
part of the fear going round is of the seemingly inevitable drop off of fanfic that happens when a character dies. i am glad you are continuing to write, but some find it difficult to shake the heavy burden of "cannon". the stories popping up now are already embroiled in the last book. if all one can do is write in cannon than one must stop writing, the books are done. (unless you want to wright about the domestic bliss of the Potters "Blegh")......
in the end i think a lot of reviewers are expressing the fundamental spirit behind FANFICTION: _If you don't like it change it._
even thou they are doing in a somewhat crass way.

any way i am glad you are continuing this fic. i cant tell you how happy i was to see that you didn't forget about it.
