Great story! Don't worry about the low number of reviews cause it seems to be that not many people do them on this site. Also, a beta is like an editor/proof-reader/critiquer (not a word, sorry). They polish up each chapter, correct any mistakes (spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.)and even offer helpful bits of advice. Some people get upset if a chapter isn't flawless, but I think you're doing a fine job :)

Your second chapter has continued the high quality of the first one. Poor Hermione, but I also think poor Draco. Hmmm, now Snape is entering the picture. Let's see how it goes.

I love really Gothic fics and I think yours definitely has potential... please don't drop it... I'm so into DM/HG-fics, it's unreal, but I love picturing Draco as the good guy and rescuing Hermione...
