I am glad that someone had taken the initiative to continue on with 'Contracts.' I really enjoyed it, but when I went back to try to refresh my memory on it, I could not find it. However, I do remember enough about it to follow what you are doing in this.
There are a couple of things that I think you might want to do. One would be to have more than one beta reader look it over, or at least have your beta reader look at it again just before posting. There were not any spelling errors that I could see, but your punctuation usage could be improved. Also, your transitions from story to flashback are a little confusing.
This is just what I have seen in reference to the writing of the story. The content is pretty good, but one of the reasons that I had wanted to refresh my memory on the original story is because Severus is not acting as I thought he should be. I don't know if it is because my perception of him has been changed since I read 'Contracts' or what. Also, you seem so rushed-like you are writing the story around the smut (which is ok, down and dirty and steamy but not really the emotional and elegant lovemaking that I would have associated with 'Contracts'). Please understand; I like this story, but mainly because 'Contracts' is gone. I think that you are doing a great job without knowing for sure what the author of the original was going for. again a fabulous chapter!!! I love how you do flashbacks and have a back story to everything it is great!!!:D I think that you got the parvati and lavendar perfectly little bitches they are... perhaps HG can get a makeover to set them all straight? :D
