Sorry- but I just don't buy that an intelligent, powerful witch would just meekly go along with such treatment, either by the Ministry of Magic or by a Malfoy. People don't have to just be victims. There are always alternatives- and a woman doeasn't have to wait for a man to rescue her (which is where I presume this is going).
