SO far so good!! =) Can't wait for the rest!

Thank you for adding the Author's note at the beginning. It clarifies everything. As i had said in my e-mail to you, if I had thought this was out and out plagarism, I would have contacted the moderators directly. Many stories are taken over and finished by authors other than the original writer. That's fine, as long as it is perfectly clear. If you are so unfortunate to have a piece of your original writing taken and used without permission, you will understand. Writers of fan fiction are only as good as our next review and hit. We need to protect our intellectual property and that means looking out for other authors as well. One day, someone may do it for you.

I'm going to give you the benefit of doubt - for now. We both know you have copied this, almost verbatam from FFN. Yes, you did give a nod to the original author, but did you get permission?

Taking inspiration from another is one thing. Taking the words and simply copying is plagarism. You need to clarify - quickly.

Yes I did get her permission, says so in the blurb. But if that is not good enough I'd be glad to send you a copy of her email giving me permission to use her story and a copy of the unpublished chapter she also sent.
