Please take note: Unlike then, than is not related to time. Than is used in comparative statements. "We learned more on the playground than we did in the classroom." and "He is taller than I am." Then is used either as a time marker or with a sequence of events. "I took all of the exams in the morning, and then I spent the rest of the day catching up on sleep." It drives me crazy and is quite common in fan fiction.

This is by far ten hundred times better than the original!! It's not easy taking something and making it polish and glow and you've done an amazing job!! I just wish you'd put me out of my misery and update! You are an amazing writer and don't let no stupid, hollow headed pea brain tell you otherwise. If they're too hotheaded and moronic to accuse you of something without evidence than they are just not worth it!! Some people have no class!!

surely the FIRST dance should be done by Hermione and Severus Snape the newly wedded married couple and NOT by Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, thats usually the case is it not?

I don't recall it being a MUGGLE wedding. Hence the MUGGLE tradition of the newlyweds and the first dance was NOT used.
