I'm sorry to be so late in reading and reviewing this chapter, we got back after 3 weeks in England and Ireland at 1:30 AM this morning. On our first full day there I fell down the same flight of 5 steps head first, face up twice, at 2 AM & 7AM on my way to the bathroom so my brain is kind of foggy from the painkillers. I enjoyed the trip in spite of the pain and discomfort, but I'm glad to be home and in my own bed.

I enjoyed the chapter and I have a hunch that the Olde Egnlish runes in the book will have a lot to do with the story. The owl correspondence was fun too. I'm looking forward to them having another sexual encounter, so update soon.

thanks for this wonderful story so far! took me only a couple of hours to read it. i used to read a lot of fanfic in the past (Snape/OFC), but unfortunatly, nothing in the last two years or so could satisfy my "high standards" ;-) your story is very well written, your OC is (in my opinion) far from being a Mary Sue and i really admire the way you developed the relationship between her and snape as subtle as is possible for our snarky potions master. so... now i finally found a story worth reading, i really hope you will continue the good work and update soon. this is so good and has even higher potential and i'm looking forward to see more of it :-)

Aww...poor Sev...so much on his shoulders. That was a great point to introduce the Vow and all that, bravo. Please keep up the good work!

If there's more to come, then bring it on I'll be waiting for it. I hate to be sexually frustrated and as a woman ages it happens more often, that's why I felt frustrated when I read about their first time. If I had been the creator it would be the other way round, it would happen sooner for women and later for men during a sexual union.

A friend of mine is writing a story called The Third Element and in it Severus marries a virgin, before they consummate the marriage on their wedding night (which takes place during the same period of time as you have set Aurora's first time with Severus) he uses a spell to break her hymen so she won't feel all that pain. I love it when an in character Snape shows he actually has a soft and loving side buried inside him and he suddenly lets it out.

That made me think about what else I'd do if I had created the universe, I found that I would make some body part on boys just as vulnerable as a hymen is for girls and that causes much pain when a boy loses his virginity. I think fear of that pain would trump hormones and the teen sex problem would be solved and teen pregnancies would be a rare thing. Of course if that were so it would rob Snape of one of his favorite passtimes, blasting the teens in the rose bushes.

Wonderful writing; I'm afraid I'm a latecomer to this story so have only read the last two chapters so far, but will certainly be reading from the start when I catch up with my life. An unusually touching sex scene and Severus' reluctant passion - the fruits of his hideous dilemma over the Unbreakable Vow - is beautifully done. I love the way you capture the atmosphere of the night and the darkness, both within and without the Dark Wizard.

I can't see how this is going to end happily, but of course I hope it does...(and, like Trickie Woo, I hope Aurora gets her rocks off too..lol).

OH FINALLY! Best chapter ever! So sexy and well written, I hope to see more lemons like this one in future chapters.

Even though you say you won't have finished the story by July 15th, I'll stay with it. I have no objection to AU stories, sometimes they are the most creative stories of all.

Once again I read the chapter in the wee small hours before I went to bed and I forgot to write a review. This looks to be where you merge Aurora's story into canon. What came before adhered to canon protocol for the most part, but now canon becomes part of your plot. Now I'm waiting anxiously to see your take on what happens in book seven. Keep up the frequent updates, I hope you can post the complete story before the book comes out in 8 weeks.
