40 Chapters and you haven't gotten anywhere. Harry is still acting like a total asshole, Ron always acts like a asshole cannon or no. but WTF is up with Ginny? saying that it was a good thing that Draco's mum was dead. god I hated Ginny fromm the first time I saw her in COS- but your Ginny- what a bitch, I hope SHE dies. Please just get the fucking point of this story. end it it's going on far too long. i'm a die hard HHR shipper but I would rather Hermione get together with someone who deserves her, not Harry.

Its hard not to like this fic. Reading it makes one forget even for a while that it is indeed a fanfic and not the real thing. ;-) And getting into the action that seems to lead us to an impending end makes it all the mmore compelling to know whats going to happen. And "getting the girl" should read more paritcularly as "getting the brave and brainy bushy haired bestfriend" BBBB. ;-)

And "reforming" Draco in the end, could very well be a "peek" into what could be a chapter in Bk7. Very cleverly plotted I might say. ;-)

Stupendously well written, excruciatingly marvelous, and labourously enjoyable. And its just this latest chapter, what more if you get to read the entire fic...heheheee...;-)

Once again, well written. I do so love the drama and suspense you place in your story... It's only a shame you can't read on ahead to find out what happens. But it's all developing nicely at a smooth pace. Can Draco redeem himself in even the eyes of those that despise him? Only time, and you of course, know the answer! Don't keep us waiting too long.

I know I said it before, that it would be nice to have some time off for groveling, but after this chapter, I find myself waiting for the time that Harry and hermione get together again. ;-) This chapter looked more like canon but feels better reading it than canon, if you get what I mean. ;-[)

You sure have a firm grip of whats going on, the characterization is still beleivable, although plotwise its snail pace at the moment. But as an HHR shipper, its fine with me. ;-) Just as long as there would be more hhr moments to wait for, Im willing to sit back and wait...;-)

Again, very well written and entertaining this fic is. ;-)

i have to say that you've ruined the story.
in the begining it looked like it was going somewhere
but somehow the plot has been lost.
its really sad~_~

Hey!

Although I haven't yet read more than the prologue and half of the first chapter, I can already say that I'm going to love this story. Lucky me; after all, I merely dropped in because I got bored and was looking for a nice change. ^-^

About the prologue: I liked that little bit of Petunia and Lily's past. Especially how Lily took revenge for her sister. It gives such a good reason fr Petunia's bitterness. After all, it's emberrassing when one's younger sister takes up one's case - the role of protector usually lies with the older sister/brother. But Lily did what her older sister couldn't. It's sweet, yes. But Petunia must have hated it.

About the bit I read of the first chapter: I so, so like your way with the characters. They are not only very much in character, they also have a lifelikeness (if the word exists) to them that makes them very compelling. I'm eager to read more, and would do so, if I didn't have to get up early tomorrow. *grumbles* Anyway, I'll sure come back for more. ^-^

bai-cha,

Absolutely one of a kind fic. And though it took longer than expected, the content of the chpater more than makes up for the "delay"..;-) However, I was kinda hoping it wouldnt be that easy for Harry to get back with Hermione, that some hard core "groveling" would be needed. Torture in short. Heheheee...But your chapter is really good for reading , your plotline and subs remain distinct and the characters come alive with the way you write them. A reader cant help feeling along with the characters. Hate, anger, love, patience, the reader is taken along with it.Very good. ;-)

Once again, very nice work. I'm having a hard time getting connected, so I'll make this one brief.

Good thing your explaining things otherwise it wouldn't fair too well. But I guess some people have no patience... Anyway, I'm glad you finally updated and hope to see more work again soon. I'm always loving your style of writing. If I didn't know better this could possibly pass off as an 'unedited' version of the 7th book... ^_^

Have fun!

Mitigating circumstances are quite a blessing. I must say that after chapter 36, I was all set to give up on this story. I've never been able to sympathize with Malfoy's character in anything outside of AU, and even then I tend to have problems. I'm glad it wasn't natural and I'm glad Harry can forgive her. I hope he goes straight to her with this, because any roundabout methods will just drive her away, no matter how temporarily. This site really needs a story alert system...

Looking forward to the retribution.

Please, I am begging you, for the love of God don't let Draco have sex with Hermione.
