Ohhh, that was so sadly sweet!

Okay I really liked that story. It was soooo cute. That he wanted to abandon the whole wizarding world and just be a recluse except for the cat. Did anyone else notice that he kept calling the cat a she? Why could he not tell that it was a boy cat?

This is an absolutely lovely story. I literally said "Awww" - out loud! - when I was done reading it.
One little niggle, though: the beginning of the fic clearly says the cat is female. Surely it's not a case of mistaken identity - I would hope that Snape can tell the difference between boy bits and girl bits, even on a cat! Did Snape just neglect to check, and assume it is female (because of the neighborhood "legend" that female black cats are fraidy cats)? That would have worked for the early days, when she/he was skittish. But the story includes the cat laying on her/his back with tummy exposed while he skritches and checks the injuries - the boy bits would surely be noticeable then.
Just a bit confused.

P.S. *Loved* the explanation of why H had trouble communicating with S! Having spent that long in cat form, it would have been difficult to keep his "human brain" in control.

Oh that was so very good. I loved your style. It wasn't long but just long enough to let things progress slowly. The ending was good and a little unexpected. Loved it.

A very nice story. I had a feeling that Harry was the cat before it was even mentioned. I love Animagus stories and this story was very well written. Keep up the very good work with all of your stories.~Sophia

Oh my God this is definitely one of my favorite Harry Potter stories. I had a feeling the cat was Harry about a quarter of the way through, and I had to go back and read the part about the fur not growing right on the forehead to know for sure, and even then I didn't really know because the cat was always referred to as a "she." Awsome story, very original.
