First off - let me congratulate you on a job well done. I can't say that I've read enough dark fics out there that held my interest for very long, but this...by far...has my attention. I was only perusing the Snape/Hermione archives when I happened upon this and was immediately intrigued by your summary.

The torture that Hermione endured was unbelievably well written. And the point of views of Snape and Draco was done exceptionally as well. I loved the conversation between Harry and Snape. It shows the level of maturity that Harry has gone through...and for Severus to actually lower down his walls was brilliant!!!

I can't wait to read future chapters (I wish there was an email alert on here, but oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep checking every day). I'm curious to find out who the betrayer to the Order is and what the hidden agenda is. Again, job well done! Keep it up!

I really like this story alot. Can you please write some more chapters?

I absolutely love the writing of this fic! Not only is it poetic but really well drawn. I did find a few spelling errors and the flow is a bit confusing, although it also works at the same time. Also, I wasn't sure if this was a Hermione/Draco fic until the fourth chapter (and I admit I am still not 100% certain!). BUT, having said all that, the last thing I want to say is that I actually got GOOSE BUMPS reading this! Wow. I don't think that's ever happened (and there are a lot of good fanfics out there if you look long enough). Out of the few fics that I love (maybe five or seven?) this has to be #2 or #3 because of the superb writing. I am REALLY impressed. PLEASE do not leave us hanging. This fic is just too interesting and well-written not to finish!

Finally! An update - and what an awesome one it was! Keep up the great work, and more sooner rather than later please! 8~D

I am very happy to see this fic updated at last. In a way I feel wrong for doing so, the fic is very very dark, and the torture Hermione and others are going through is so terrible. But, I have hopes for this fic anyway. Severus did manage to get her out of her captivity, Draco shows that he posess a whole lot of currage to take Hermiones place while Severus gets her to safety, and Harry shows that he is growing up by understanding the reasons for Severus actions. The conversation between Harry and Severus and the newest chapter, showing us the other side of Draco, portrait a dept to your caracters that are very impressing. One can not do anything else than wish for theese heroes; Hermione, Harry, Severus and Draco, to come out in the other end alive, as winners and able to find some trace of happiness and joy. I still honestly belives that Severus is on the "rigth" side in this war, and I am 99% sure that book 7 will show us that. If JKR by any chance should "forget" to do the rigth thing, I find hope in the fanfics that gives me the ending I feel are the correct one:-) Though I hope for a relatively happy ending to your story(I am not sure that there can be a truly happy ending for people who have gone through such amont of torture), I also hope you will give us the revenge we crave over Voldemort, Lucius and especially Bellatrix. Maybe you can invent a spell that makes them relive and feel the torture they have inflicted upon others before you kill them? A terror stricken Bellatrix would surely make my day. I hope that you will give us a Hermione, when she gets better, if not healed completly from her terrible time in captivity, that will figth back and still haves that brilliant mind intact that can help Harry sucsess in his destiny to kill Voldemort. I am not sure about Rons role in this story. Will he behave like a git, (then please make sure that others keep him in check), or will he show him self not as a attention seeking side-kick, but a true friend, Gryffindor and a warrior with a brilliant mind for strategy?
I hope you will update again soon, a lot sooner than the time between chapter 3 and 4:-)) You are doing a fantastic work, both the plot and the writing!!!!

i was almost in tears at the end of chapter four
with draco and hermione. that was so beautiful, and so emotional
i feel so terrible for her, its such a nightmare
but this part with draco, it was just so....
i can't explain it. but it was like something good in the nightmare
