That was an agonizing chapter to read. First you had Draco who is essentially a blend of weakness and stregnth taking what he knows he needs. Then there is Snape who recognizes his own jealousy but still presumes that Draco is a self- serving weakling... It is interesting to think that earlier on Snape said that Draco would make some one a nice wife. Well, Harry is going to need someone stronger than a regular woman isn\'t he?

*Great* story. I love the concepts, and the characterizations. It\'s very creative. I wonder what the older Order members are doing in Harry\'s absence? I hope they don\'t think he\'s being corrupted by Snape and Malfoy. Moody\'s so paranoid, he\'d probably shoot on sight.

I\'m confused on one point. Snape thinks, at the end of chap. 7, that Draco can never be strong enough to not be a liability. Yet earlier in the story, he says that Draco has received additional training that is meant for powerful students. So is he thinking that Draco isn\'t strong enough period, or that he isn\'t strong enough emotionally? Or is it just jealousy \"talking\"?

I just wanted you to know that I am holding you responsible. It is all your fault. It is now 1 am in the morning, my eyes are burning, and i\'m tired as fuck, but it was sooooooooooo worth it. I have to go to bed now and get up in less than 5 hours.... yay... I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your story. It sucked me in. I had been avoiding it, because I have so many other stories I have yet to read. I cheated. Whoops. I guess thats just how life goes isn\'t it? :). Anyway pleaseeeee update, and bed for me. You know, slash isn\'t my first thing, but I really like how you are doing this. It\'s not an invasion or something awkward and forced, it\'s flowing and natural. I like the somewhat kinder and gentler Severus, and your take on why he killed DD is creative and believable. I\'m also enjoying Snape\'s longing for him, it\'s coming across as genuine. Well done, I\'ll be looking for updates.
