I really like this story. You've written it very well and I think you've done a fantastic job of keeping the characters "in character".
I especially like the innovative "muggle-born disease". That is truly unique and, I think, could be very plausible.
As for Ginny, well, I've always been a fan of a jealous, manipulative and scheming Ginny, or maybe that's just the angst-fan part of me speaking.
I love James Ronald as a baby name.
Do you have an animal chosen for Ron yet? I think he should be an owl because an owl is very inconspicuous, after
all, not many wizards would think that an owl is out of the ordinary, and also because people who are animagi keep
their frame of minds, but they also take on any special ability of their perspective animals. For example, if Ron were to become an owl, then he would then have the wonderful ability to find anyone, anywhere. (After all,
occasionally, Harry sends out Hedwig with nothing more than a name and she's never failed.)

Ginny has me worries...hopefully whatever she does won't ruin things forever...and hopefully Harry won't give in to anything she tries...unless it's not his fault! He and Hermione deserve to be happy in this...oh, no, she won't turn to the dark side, will she? wouldn't surprise me!
