Well. That was good.

"Trashy Muggle romance novel", as author said :-)
Very interesting original characters, very good writing, action and composition. The Best Harry Potter fanfiction I've read so far.

This is an extraordinarily well thought out story. I like your interpretations of Snape, Dumbledore, and this chapter's Voldemort. Your OC's are nicely done. This story is definitely bookmarked!

I found this story yesterday by accident and I read it all over the next few hours. It's brilliant, well thought out, well written and ... I don't really know what else I can say about this story. It's wonderful. I do hope you continue to write and post.

CMW, I am really enjoying your fic so far. I just finished Chapter three, only thirty more to go. I can\'t wait. You have done a great job of showing Snape in a different light outside of canon and made him very interesting. Back to reading!!

When will Remus accept it!? He\'s in love with Hermione, they\'re perfect for each other, stop beating yourself up! I thought the scene with the Mirror of Erised was lovely. It was wonderful to see someone elses thoughts about what they truly desire, as it\'s typically always been Snape, Harry or Ron whose desires are expanded upon. I hope Hermione gets some play next chapter, would be interesting to see that little plot furthered along. :-)

Unfortunately, that\'s all I have time for today, but I promise a longer review next time!

Keep up the good work.

Hi. Wow. This is an amazing, sweeping, epic story. I love how you\'ve managed to make it full of both believable, rounded, original characters and interestingly fleshed out canon characters, introducing so many original elements - yet still staying within the framework of canon. Simply put, I am in awe of your writing skills. This is a damn good story. :) I love it. The Three Flowers thing, and Dumbledore\'s extended family - I don\'t know how you pulled it off, but you\'ve made it seem so real and believeable, without the hint of a MarySue in sight! I also love Kiaya, in fact I think she\'s my favourite character at this point. Poor thing. As for the characterisations, brilliant. Snape is spectacular, Voldemort is perfectly despicable and creepy, Lucius is a masterpiece, Dumbledore is suitably wise and oddbal-ish, and Sirius is wonderfully flawed. Remus is wry and self-deprecating as he should be; Fudge is suitably bumbling; and Umbridge! Well done, my dear.
The details in your writing are the real gems. Everything is so well-thought-out, there is such an atmosphere of a whole world created instead of just a story; for example Jasmine\'s business and her work, the dresses she\'s always got lying around; and Kiaya\'s apprenticeship with Basilton, and the explanation of the process; the Ministry ball, the gardens and the atmosphere; all the minor characters that parade through the pages, serving their myriad roles to perfection; and just in this last chapter, the explanation of Anne-Mette\'s husband\'s business, how the owls are trained in winter, it was interesting backgrund without being boring.
Wow. [deep breath]
I\'ve never written such a long review in my life. But I\'m angry that more people haven\'t reviewed your story - it\'s magnificent! And I figure, you having shared the pleasure of your tens of thousands of words with me, the least I can do is tell you what I think.
Please email me when the next chapter is up. I would really appreciate it. And happy writing. I\'m dying of suspense! :)
love, Laica
