Very, very good chapter (38) ...

And as always: update soon, please?!

i love all your stories, and this one is no exception...but i have my reservations. i mean, i understand how she would be understanding about what he did...she did give him permission and knew what she was getting into. However, the next day she barely has any reservations. he's right...the potion is supposed to fix physical not emotional wounds. and i find it hard to believe that any woman could go through that and not have any emotional wounds. even if it felt like just a dream...that's a dream that would give most people pause! also, severus's issues are understandable and i just don't think they should be trivialized(apologies for spelling) by hermione with a simple lust potion. rape, even with permission is something i would think he would need lots of time(more than a week) and conversation *not just sex!* to deal with. anyways, im not trying to be a bitch....I STILL LOVE YOUR STORY...i just think the psychology is out of what.

whew the ritual was err... brutal. but poor severus. i hope he doesnt end up like draco. lol. im sure he wont but just in case. this story is so good. i dont know if you have let out any emotion out of it. its full of everything and its simply great. i hope that sev and hermione repay voldy so much for having hermione to go through that. Voldemort should feel soo bad that he regrets for being such a dirty dark lord. oops. thats soo out of line, lol. waiting for the next chapter.

I know your stories are very, very AU and extremely OOC, but aside from that, this has to be the most unbelievable reaction to a physical assault I have ever read in my life. Aside from the fact that he did not want to do it, and she knew that, her initial reaction in the morning after is extraordinary. She may have known he loved her, she may have known he hated the act but a young woman, hell, any woman, would have a major reaction to that assault. And probably would for a long time afterward. Violence is always more mental than physical. Healing physical wounds means nothing. Even magic does not make it go away. After all, she was barely prepared beforehand for it. That would be the one thing that would make a difference, sufficient training beforehand. And it would have to have been training. For a good example of this you could read Ladyofthemasques For Someone Special. She is a brilliant writer and you could, perhaps, get a few tips.

Ch 32-35 - does Harry know that Hermione had to go through all "that" because of his not killing Voldemort yet? Sigh.... I'll be looking forward to seeing Voldy die. Now for the healing potions, etc. Perhaps Hermione will now convince Harry to work a lot harder on his Voldy-killing skills. Good job writing, Ms_Figg - these look like they were tough chapters to write!
