I'm so glad you decided to finally post your take on the challenge. I really do not mind if you exceeded the closing date for it, 'cause that was just (at least for me) a formality requested by the archive/group (WIKTT, if my mind serves me well). It's amazing that authors as focused and talented as you seem still interested in the challenge in the first place and after so long. I thank you publicly Anyway, I've been immediately caught by the angsty storyline you are building. Few people answered the Love in Four Stages Challenge but I can very well say that this is the darkest and most intense fic so far. Keep up the good work with the characterizations and the flashbacks!

Chapter 2 - I do so love it when I finish a review and find that there is another chapter. I am glad that Hermione is going to be key in locating my favorite guy. Wonderful. -- B

I love where this is heading! Will Hermione go off to rescue Severus? I hope in doing so she gets revenge against Lucius, the bastard/

Wonderful beginning. Sad but very captivating. I look forward to seeing who resques Severus. And wonder if it will be a slow recover for both of them, or if they will just be more determined to live a good and full life as retailation for poor treatment. Oh but I do hope that Severus and Hermione together get to kill Lucius, preferably rather slowly.
