Sleep-Aid Potion isn't original, but it does fit the standard naming conventions of the Wizarding World. You do have some like Amortentia that are on a Latin base, but most of the standard ones are named in Standard English by function like Dreamless Sleep or Skele-Gro or, in a slightly more archaic language form that suggests it is a much older formula, Draught of Living Death. The Wizarding World doesn't have all the competition between drug/pharmaceutical companies where you've got basically fourteen dozen different names and formulas for the same medication (although that does have some advantages in real life. One of my meds I have a problem with the brand-name version based on the United States Pharmacopeia formulation, but I can tolerate the British Pharmacopeia version made by Glaxo-Germany to the point that I've lost some side-effects that have persisted through multiple types of the medication--natural and synthetic--for thirty years.) Phooey, I ran out of chapters to read. {snicker} I love this story, and can't wait to find out what happens next. I've been reading it all in one sitting, and was hoping all the chapters were here so I'd find out what the end was. I'm probably going to come back sometime and save this to my hard drive so I can convert it to ebook so I can reread it on my PDA.
