Great beginning- loved the tension and his heroic rescue of Hermione. I sure hope you're able to remain connected! I know that if you were publishing your stories in book form- I'd be buying them. Do you have a Paypal acct? Maybe those of us who wished to do so could make a contribution towards your phone bill...I couldn't afford a lot, but I'd help! I don't want to lose my favorite author.

Wow, you've definitely got me hooked to this one Ms. Figg, that was a stunning opening chapter. I'm going to take a wild stab and say that even if Severus expects to die, he'll make it back to our very own Miss Granger somewhow. Can't wait to see what will happen when they meet again!

Wow...I love all of your work and figured it was about time to come out of the woodwork and review your fics.
I think the premise of this fic sounds great and I am very intrigued to find out where its gonna go. How will Hermione react to Snape when he comes back? What sort of condition will our beloved potions master be in? Will he regret kissing her?? Eeek so many questions and I am just gonna have to be patient.

This is quite a change for the introductory chapter, but very good none-the-less. I have read your other stories, and while they have a bit more of a playful edge to them, they are still brilliant and I consider you my favorite author for Severus/Hermione stories, if not, HP fanfics in genral. I like the darker twist that you threw into this one, and I'm excited to see how it's going to turn out. ^-^
