Very, very good. I really like this story and can hardly wait for more. (I particularly liked that part with Snape and Voldemort and the fire beings. )

Ch 7-9 Yes, the villagers' power shows very easily why Snape was able to show such power during the battle and when killing Voldemort. It will be interesting to see if it is the environment or the people that determines wandless magic, perhaps Hermione will absorb the power through osmosis? The ring sounds as if it is a major power source and one that Snape didn't activate. I wonder if Hermione will be able to access that power also.
This is a most enjoyable story, Ms Figg. I am really loving the adventure aspect of it.

Ch 10 - Hmmm, he's a nasty little bastard isn't he? And what was Snape thinking? Poor Hermione, good thing she's a Gryffindor and very brave. Rocks that move, an angry leader of a unicorn herd, and gods know what else. I can't wait.
