JenK: Yes, I have read Terry Brooks years ago but not the series you spoke of, I was into The Magic Kingdom of Landover series. I am also a big Piers Anthony Land of Xanth & Incarnations series too. And Anne McCaffery's Pern series. But I read those years and years ago. Now I rarely read. I don't even own Harry Potter books. I have them all on CD audio, so I got to "listen" to the stories with voice characterizations etc. Very cool. I think that's what helps me with the dialogue I write, because it is like I can hear what the characters say along with their inflections. So glad you are enjoying The Ring. Thanks for your review.

Ch 8-11 - But Dumbledore told Hermione to "Exercise caution with whomever you meet on this journey. Be slow to trust and quick to withdraw." She should never have told anyone her real name - ack! Thank you for not letting Big Bird eat Raucous, and for the ring "biting" Ketri. I don't mind the little cliffhanger at Chapter 11 because it can only be good that she can see Severus. Hmm, can Severus also observe his cousins? Stupid Vivaldi - powerful wizard doesn't know he's being duped by wicked half-sister.

by the way, i think a story with a really sadistic, dark snape could be interesting...especially if you tried your hand at the WIKTT marriage-law challenge.
i want to say that, even though i'm the biggest d/hr shipper ever, you're the one who made me appreciate s/hr, and you're the only s/hr authoress i ever read. your work is superb and i enjoy it greatly! (just to ask...i don't suppose you'd ever want to do a d/hr story, would you? you've already got the whole "bad slytherin" thing down...)
