too funny. such an evil little mind you have to even conceive of this little story. you have to feel sorry for filch, even a little bit. he did give a bit of pleasure while he was doing his duty. he certainly won't be walking straight after this. this is a pretty funny story and while it's amusing to see the antics of the teachers i am anxious to get to the students. i cower at who the pairings will be. i'm a softy, so i hope there will be some romance between a couple of the students. for me, i would like to see hermione get with both harry and ron, but i'm afraid that won't happen. i'm sure it will be comical whatever does happen though.

you know what would be great? snape with either hooch, vector, or sprout, and then with trewlawney. can you imagine? who else would give out the first student relation assignment? who could it be? oh- i bet the kids would announce who some of them are as well- i can here it now "hey! Harry! ya want cho chang?" or ron roaring out to the hall- "who wants draco malfoy? pansy- you gone yet? oh.. hey goyle! catch!" i see people making bids at specific offers- oh- why can't sprout be last though? her and neville were made for each other. or snape and neville. or snape and harry. i can see harry doing one of the bossy teachers. "no you neanderthal! lube first!"-snape or how about " No need to be nervous harry dear. just remember what is at stake. this is for the greater good harry! don't you want to have children some day?"

Oh Katelynxm, I wasn't trying to pick on you, just so often it seems to be a kneejerk reaction pair-up. One of the funniest HP fanfics I've ever read is a Snape/Hermione story, "Frogs in Winter" (without a following date) by Ladyofthemasque. It's posted at RestrictedSection.org. I even wrote one myself that's posted here on AFF, called "Terms of Payment".
I'm still pulling for a Snape/Trelawney matchup, though.
